I’ve an Hp laptop (amd turion 64 processor). How do i prevent it from overheating so easily?
Answer: Well a few things you can do is keep it well ventilated, clean, try not pushing it so hard with games or what ever. Buying a little vent pad from Wal-Mart or some where like that can help also.
Answer: AMD processors get quite a bit hotter than Intel processors. You might see idle temperatures around 60 degrees Celsius. The most effective ways of preventing overheating have already been mentioned. With you having an AMD processor, expect higher temperatures. You could try AMD Overdrive to undervolt your processor. I was unable to get it working on my laptop, you might get lucky. Good luck!
Answer: Go to a Staples or Ideal Purchase and buy a laptop fan. It is a flat fan that you sit your laptop on to keep it cool so it doesn't overheat. If you're a male, try not to leave the hot laptop on your lap because it kills sperm and prevents the ability to make as much (same with hot tubs).
Answer: I concur with Backseat Romance. Last week I just purchased the Targus laptop cooler with the 4 hub 2.0 usb ports built in at Best Buy. It was kinda pricey at $58 out the door. It also came with an ac adapter which is good because I really use my laptop as a desktop and runs pretty quiet. I figure it is worth it. I am not trying to turn my laptop into a paperweight any time soon.
Answer: Having laptop on a flat surface. while playing
