I'm looking to buy a new laptop and would like some of ur views! I’ve owned a few desktops b4 but never a laptop and I dont know much about them. I’ve heard a lot of people complain about Dell and thats about all I know. I would be using this computer for personal use…world wide web…music downloads, uploading pics. Basic programs like word, powerpoint, excel. What are Mac's like?

My dad has an HP and it's pretty awesome. I’ve a Toshiba one, but 3 months after I purchased it I had to send it to get the charger cord fixed cause it quit working. I wouldn't recommend them. I really haven't seen bad things with Dells, but I've never owned one so I really can't say. Same with the Mac's, but I've heard that Mac's are pretty kick ***.

I have a Dell laptop and for the most part it works pretty good. I would say my speakers are too low though. I've had minor issues with it but you'll find that everywhere. Another brand I was considering was HP.

You'd also want to know if the technical support is good in case you do ever have a problem. Dell's…is okay…but can be a bit difficult to comprehend and get across to them.

I’ve a Sony Vaio and I’ve never had a problem. I use mine for uploading photos, internet, and music downloads as well. It has powerpoint, excel, and word too!

I suggest it.
