I was just wondering if there was anyway possible to virtually increase my screen resolution

The maximum is 1200X800
I'm running Vista 64bit
nVidia 8400m gs

I NEED MORE SPACE!!

Answer:
The 8400 should handle up to 1920×1200.

However if this is a laptop, the monitor may not support that resolution.

If you have the nvidia drivers installed, it usually comes with an nvidia utility. Look in the utility for a way for force a resolution or show unsupported modes.

If this fails, I doubt you can get the monitor to a higher resolution.

You might be able to hook up an external monitor. This would give you more desktop space. The external might go up to 1920×1200. But if this is a lap top you wouldn't want to drag a second monitor around.
