Not too long ago, yahoo had small article on laptops. If I remember correctly, ASUS was one of the top personal out of ten and higher than toshbia. Nothing against toshiba but a friend of mine had one under warranty while in hawaii and he got killed in shipping costs fixes….coming and going. So I shy away from toshiba.

A friend at work has an ausu and he adores it. If I was in the market for a laptop, I think I would get an asusu. My personal favorites are HP and DELL because of their customer service and on line help.

Hope this helps a tiny

Answer:
Asus - had mine for years. Lasted longer than the HP one I had, and a toshiba a friend bought at the same time. It's still going, even though it is beginning to have troubles - the wi-fi is shot, it isn't cooling as well as it used to, and so on, but it still runs at a reasonable speed and does most of what I want.

Answer:
Asus is my personal preference. On their full size machines you get an incredible warranty. 1 Year Warranty against accidental damage! You can spill a soda on your laptop 300 days after you bought it and they will send you a new machine!

I am looking to get the Asus ul30vt-x1 myself.
