I know mass effect 2 hasn't been released yet but I want to know peoples thoughts I've got a Gateway® P-7805u FX Edition with a NVIDIA® GeForce® 9800M GTS I know it can play mass effect 1 well but can it play mass effect 2? will the graphic of mass effect 2 be much of a difference compare to mass effect 1?

Sounds like a very powerful laptop to me. Superior than a lot of desktops, I recommend Plugging it into the wall and turning the power saving features off. Because those eat your performance a lot, even wit them off they still wont perform as good as their desktop counterparts. But you should be able to play almost any game all the way up with that beast. Gateway FX Laptops are some of the best out there. As long as she doesn't overheat just plug it in and turn off the power saving crap otherwise games will eat your battery. Run a 3dmark06 once it will train your battery down 1/3rd. My buddy has a crappy dell he paid $1600 for and if you get higher than 2300 points on 3dmark06 you got your moneys worth. That laptop can play anything but crysis all the way up. But crysis' coding and programming is garbage so its not your fault. Crytek sucks
