If you are going to be working/internet surfing than no. because a monitor is EVERYTHING, good ones costs from 100 dollars up, and if you’ve that money you could easily upgrade your laptop. The tower also have only 1 gig ram which is very low but you can easily double or triple that. but again that will cost you some extra cash as well. (monitor plus ram upgrade 130 - 230$ better purchase a new laptop!)

Overall both computers are outdated but the only reason you would a proccesor that strong is if you’re going to be using special programs (video, music, powerpoint, games, e.g.)
