i work at hp customer support lol i personally think hp is rubbish , i had a hp dv61132 which is rubbish keep on overheating over 75 c with speedfan i need a new laptop which will last me atleast 4-5 years,thanks and remember 10 points ideal answer!

What's your price range? If you're looking at $500, then you wont get much quality from anywhere…

But if you’ve $1,000-$1,500 then ASUS and Clevo barebones would be best, since they actually manufacture their own laptops unlike Dell, HP, Toshiba, Apple, Acer, ect.

Most people state Mac, I don't have $2k to spend, my friend & sister had Toshiba - so, I have had a Toshiba I bought off ebay $145 for a year & love it.
