I’ve a Dell laptop. I used it just last night and it was fine. However, when I went to turn it on this morning, it initially began to turn on before it just turned itself off. I pressed the on button again and nothing happened. I don't know whats the problem. I plugged it in so its not like the battery died.

What do I do?

leave it plugged it for an hour or so then try again. it might just need a tiny charge first

i have had the same problem with my laptop. the problem seems to be that the section of the motherborad that deals with power isn’t accepting the power supply and thus isn’t charging or turning on from mains. if it is warrenty you can negiote a new laptop at the store as repairs will take about 4-5 weeks. hope this helps

You might need a new battery?? Or a new charger.. Check on your cord to charge the computer the box is its hot.. If it is it might be burnt out.. But to make sure of this call Dell Personal Costumer Service and they should put you step by step..
