Ok. Does your pc give you the BSOD after you load the OS(IE once going INTO windows?), or do you get it before you get close to loading windblows?
Or do do you get it after you are running a few progs in windows?
All of these matter and have diffrent reasons for the BSOD.
Bomber is kinda right. I would say open your casing and swop your ram to another seat/slot. If it is still doing the same thing, take the ram out again, use your fingers and give them a good wipe. I sometimes give it the good old lick also. ^_^
Re seat it/them and try again. If it still does not work, try a m8's ram to test and check if that works.
……right…a laptop. :-/
What model do you’ve again?
You will have to check under the keyboard and under the laptop for ram slots.
Underneath you should have engravings with ram icons, telling you where the ram slots is.
Check it out and get back to us.

2 slots. one underneath the KB and underneath the lappy.
If ima not mistaken, its close to the cpu, near the 2 extraction fans…
If you want to do it yourself, open the cabinet, check if all the cables are connected properly. Unplug them and reconnect. Take out the RAM sticks and reposition them.
See if the fan is working properly.
Do a vacuum blow inside the cabinet.
The reconnect the computer and popin the Installer CD in the drive.
If your RAM isn’t damaged, you should be able to install the OS.
