I was listening to my ipod right now, and I heard a pop sound (like, if an electrical socket pops), and I looked at my cord and there wasn't smoke or anything, but I'm about 90% sure that THAT was the sound. What's going on??
Oh, f—- I just tried to plug it in, and it didn't spark or smoke or anything. It just made a pop sound.
Answer: My laptop charger did this for a while when i got it, i thought it was normal to pop each now and then when i plugged it in. Mine popped when i connected the wire to the power block in the middle. Next thing i knew i had a fire in my living room. Unplug it and get in touch with your manufacturer ASAP!
Answer: It might be that the connectors are not connecting properly. One side my be damaged and that noise you may be hearing is an electric pop. You should take it to a computer store to have it looked at. That could be bad
Answer: there must be a lose wire in your laptop and the rectangle thingy isn’t very safe with a lose wire i advocate you purchase a new cord or take the one you have now and take it to a personal shop
Answer: Probably best not to plug that lead in again. Sounds as if it's shorting out, which would make it hazardous to use. (Electric Shock and Fire risks).
Answer: The socket of your plug is damaged or the wires are damaged. You should get a new one!!
Answer: TURN OFF YOU COMPUTER AND GET A NEW PLUG IMMEDIATLY!!!!!!!
Answer: poppping sounds and sparks often comes from loose terminals.try to plug your male plugs to new female plug (electricity source)
