That's the laptop I was thinking of getting but what are som other good Laptops to consider? Is the Apple macbook even that good?

Yes I would highly reommend it. I own an iMac and have been a Mac user since 2000 and would NEVER go back to Windows.

Definitely Mac is better than windows but i would stick to windows because it is more well known ( e.g. you might not find some software for mac ) but you will always get something for windows
