I'm looking for a monitor for my computer and I bid on one on EBay. Do you think I’ll get a good product or not?

Answer:
I can't stress enough when people ask me about ebay that you really have to be competent. If you know what you're doing then you can get some bargains, if you don't you can get shoddy goods, ripped off or scammed. Always read the description deeply, any doubts or if it looks far too good to be true then don't bid. If it's got more than a day left then ignore the current price, it all changes in the last few hours, the low starting price is intended to hook you in. Read the description and smallprint (if the seller has any) again. Check the seller's feedback from buyers, read through and scan for negatives (I know this has recently changed though) but any persistent problems with the seller should be reflected by the feedback.

Answer:
How safe is your local flea market? That pretty much answers it.

I bought a damaged but working LCD for $10, even though did get burned by an oversea seller on SD card.

I am a part-time seller on eBay myself, I don't deal with LCD. The above stated LCD is hooking up to my primary computer which is PRIMARILY eBay parts.
