I have XP what Windows app on my DELL comp. can I load successfully?

When I had my computer fixed they deleted everything that was on the personal.
So I no longer have Microsoft Word (? ed) and can not find the disk to reload it.
Can I load Word from a NEWER personal or will it just bog it down? Or run very slow?
Both computers are DELL.
Answer:
you can not install word on your personal that just got reformatted without the installation disk. Duplicating the files from one dell computer to the other will not work
Edit: Yes you can load it from the other disk and it won’t slow it down. I assume your talking about Office 2007 instead of 2003. You will be fine. Don't install Open Office last time i downloaded that and scanned with my virus and spyware i came of with some infections!!
