I need a little advice in buying a new laptop
Answer: First off you should shop on-line for your laptop because the companies prices maybe cheaper then going into a retail store and trying to buy one.
Has far as performance the ideal is 4GB Ram with Dual Core Processor, Helps the system run faster, also I advocate going with Windows XP its no worse or better than Vista
I Bought a Gateway Laptop From Walmart For Less Than $800 dollars
The Features are A 15'5 Screen,Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor, CD/DVD RW, 4 in 1 Card Reader.
So depending on the use of the laptop you can find a good one for under $700 online and $800 Retail.
Answer: Three of the ideal companies that make laptops in respect to their durability are Lenovo, ASUS, and HP. ASUS laptops are somewhat expensive, but are more oriented towards gaming. HP and Lenovo are pretty much equal, but I'd give the lead to Lenovo- their laptops just seem to never die.
Answer: ASUS will make oyu happy. they aren't any more drable than the other brands, but they do make all the parts that go into the dells, hp, sony, and alienware computers. and they provide a free 2 year warrenty on all their laptops, plus an accidental warrenty for one year if anyhtign were ot happen.
Here's a link for some of the cheaper models

Hope this helps
Answer: Stick with the trusted HP. Their reputation speaks for itself.
