Hi, I wanna get a new laptop comp, I use it for casual things like work, chatting, pic editing, statistical work etc. but not for gaming so won't require really good laptop.

My budget is below $1000, and other requirements are:

- glossy screen

- screen size no smaller than 14.1inch

- max weight of 3kg

I’ve a Dell Inspiron 1525. I bought it at the beginning of this year and have not had the slightest probalem with it so far. i would definately advocate Dell to anyone - it's convenient cos you can purchase it online and you get to choose specs if you're looking for something on the web. I only paid $750 for mine which is great value and much superior than anything you could get for that price in stores!!
