I'm trying to upload a very short clip from a DVD onto my computer, but can't figure out how to do it. Can anyone help?

Answer:
Format Factory - it looks good and was given 4 stars on download.com - plus it's free!

Answer:
You should use DVD Shrink. It's a free software that allows you to re-author the dvd, and also to back up you dvd [or a selection you have made]. Check out the manual or follow these instruction, open the dvd with dvd shrink, select re-author, pick the chapter it interests you, pick set start/end frame, and choose back up and the option that suits you the most, to save it into an iso format, or a video folder etc. Hope that helps. You can get dvd shrink from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_dvdshr…

Answer:
To transfer a video from DVD to a personal you need a program that is a video “ripper”. BEcause the format of a DVD and a computer are very different (for example on a DVD, the picture and the sound are stored in separate files - that’s why they have the ability to have multiple langaue tracks or director's comments on a DVD). But on a personal they’re stored as one file.

A “ripper” basicly plays the video, and then “records” the results to your computer as an avi or mpg file.

If you go to any of the “free” software sites (my favorite is CNET's http://download.com ) and search for “video ripper” will you’ll find several free ones.

Answer:
With a DVD ripper, use Magic DVD ripper, its a fully functionally trial version and leaves no water marks.
