What is the most simple way i can connect my Laptop to my tv??

I'm not good with all this computer stuff so if you can please explain it to me in the most easy way possible please!!!

Look around your laptop for a socket saying s-video, then look around your tv for and s-video, if they both have it, then go to best purchase or your closest electronic store, and ask for an s-video lead to connect your laptop to your t.v. sorted. or if you recognize the shape of the socket and have the lead at home, (which most households do) then you dont need to go to the shops. they’re cheap to it wont be a hole in your pocket.
