How do i clean my mac book pro with out frying it with water?

My laptop's keyboard is a mess. Like honestly, i'm disgusted. My sister tried to steal it and type weird things to my friends and she had pastel all over her fingers. So i tried to wipe it off and it just made a mess. Any ideas?
