Some tea spilled on the keyboard, and a few are a bit sticky. I'm reading that some people simply remove the keys, then pop them back on after they clean them. However, I'm also reading that it's a bit difficult to do this with HP laptops.. Any help? Or HP-related links? Anyone?? I'm sick of the sticky keys.
Answer: turn the power off and runthe most potent rubbing alchohal you can find over the keys. usually 91% rubbing alchochal will be fine. di it with a cotton swab so that moisture contact is minimal. this will desolve the stickyness, next take some compressed air and spry out the keys until dry.
This will do the job with out ruining oyur keyboard
Hope this helps
Answer: DONT MESS WITH IT IF YOUR NOT SURE WHAT YOU ARE DOING. TAKE IT TO A COMPUTER FIXING PLACE AND ASK THEM FOR A QUOTE FOR CLEANING THE KEYS….IT SHOULD NOT COST YOU MORE THAN $50…MAYBE 20 OR SO…WATCH OUT FOR PEOPLE THAT WILL CASH YOU OUT FOR A SIMPLE THING.
REMEMBER THEY ARE NOT FIXING IT…THEY WILL JUST CLEAN IT. AND SHOULD BE CHEAP.
Answer: Yes but they are tricky to reattach. Check u tube for instructions
