Can you right click on the taskbar and go to properties…. this happened with my volume button, try restarting if that doesnt work and clicking properties again

My battery icon comes and goes from the task bar as it wishes.

I think of the battery icon as I would a pet cat.

I keep a shortcut to the “Power Options” on the desktop when I get curious. Just in case.
