Does apple make black macbooks?

The $999 notebook, but in black? I only see white on the internet but I’ve seen a few people with black ones before.

No. Apple decided that they hate personalization and customization (despite being the pioneers in colored computers) so now everything's just one color.

When I purchased my Macbook about 4 years ago, there was the option to buy the exact same machine (all the tech specs were identical), but it costs $200 more for a black MacBook. I just went through the process to order a new one and that option isn’t there any more.

No sorry, although apple's new desktop has is almost all black and sliver. If that floats your boat.
